i would like to choose Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 (since i used it) but for this i think better HTC Evo to represent ANDROID OS and the famous apple iphone to come head to head in this showdown...
Actually y'l can evaluate iphone and android phone from various and countless angles. There are no true or precise comparison since each of the devices have pros and cons.
Its depends on the users and the score are subjective, some users like to used prestigious apple inc product (iphone) and some of them likely to used android systems (developed by Google). I do it just a little research on the internet poll about the iphone and android. Most of them prefer android, 30% percent prefer the iphone and 4 percent preferred either (coutesy lifehacker.com)

just a very thin win by android phone......
Ok...... Each of that devices have pros and cons... But some experts says android phones will conquer the market in the end of this year because of their availability in software, user friendly etc.
